Considering our guild is full of punsters, jokers, and people who love to have a good time, we’re bringing a new game that is just for us to play. It’s based on an old game from the US known as MadLibs. Some of you may read this and immediately think of Cards Against Humanity. There is a difference though. While CAH tends to focus on short, to the point punchlines, MadLibs are short stories, or something like that, where the players offer up nouns, verbs, adjectives, and other key words to create strange stories.

Each month, a new challenge will appear on the website. Everyone will have a chance to enter their words of honour. The due date for entry is the Thursday before the guild meeting every month. Entries will be read at the end of the guild meeting and winners will have their unique creations proudly displayed upon the website. Perhaps even with a unique piece of artwork to reference the work in question. The stories, or short pieces, will come from games we know, love, and play. Of course, no one will know what the game is until the guild meeting.

To help explain how this will happen, I pulled Jerodar to the site and presented him with a Word Challenge just for him. The following is the result. All words he came up with are written in bold.

Jerodar’s Explanation of the Chocobo from Final Fantasy

Chocobos are generally depicted as purple birds with 9000-toed feet, large wings and long necks. While the cuddly chocobo is flightless, stronger breeds can graze and facemelt. Common variations include the red chocobo, rainbow chocobo, pink chocobo, and the chocobo breed universally regarded as the creepy chocobo.

Chocobo breeding is mutating in several games, as stronger breeds able to gore and stampede can reach optional areas an airship cannot. The ruler of the chocobos is The Sudo, an obese chocobo capable of rowsdower speech who possesses varying degrees of mental powers over lesser chocobos.

Chocobos are known to be crazy and to understand buffalo. Bar The Sudo, the cases of a regular chocobo speaking are rare. Otherwise they are known for their signature moo cry.
